The House

Yes I'm very bad at updating the blog it seems.  So for now ill just show you some pictures of the house better known as "Prodigals Home". Not to much detail but just some little ones.

Out front of the house is the basketball court. Me and Thomas Green set up that volleyball net today.  One of the boys from the area tried to impress a local girl and shot out the back board. That was before I got here. And Jimmy put up the rim and didn't worry about making level. Sooooo yea it's not even close:)

This here is the fire pit area.

Finishing this deck was the first project when I got here. I helped with the smaller section. It came out quite well.

This is the square foot gardens. Believe it or not we can get over 1000 plants in those boxes!

We're just waiting for the weather to cool down so we can plant.

That's jimmy sitting in front of his apartment which is next to the shed.

The back of the house two washers and two dryers for people to do there laundry.

First view inside the house. Two pictures show wear we meet with kids on Tuesday nights and homeless every week day morning for communion and prayer.

These couches were donated to the house.

This is Jimmy's son Tyler "Ty". He is here on Tuesday nights and on weekends.

Pictures in the kitchen that's is "Smokie". I honestly don't know his real name. He is the oldest 61 year old I've ever meet😄. He would say the same.

And this is Casey the 9 year old dog. 

We made these flower beds today. They look good now but when you get close you'll notice the guys became inpatient :) but we'll blame it on the heat😄.

My apartment is in the upper left corner.

I don't have a picture of the Prodigal Home founder Mike and Kim Ricker sorry. But someone from Mikes church donated a bed and a frame and they decided to give it to me. Wow. But a blessing!

Well this is all I got right now. Next Friday is the start of the Friday night community night when families from the area come to hang out and play and eat. So you could pray that goes well. And the following morning me and Jeff Chupp go to the Aim Right Ministries orientation weekend. So I'll get to meet some new people and some guys I haven't seen in a couple years.

So as of now I say it going pretty well.
