My Birthday

So yesterday was my birthday.  It was a mixed blessing yesterday. I got up for prodigals morning devotions. And I had some people say happy birthday. After that was over we made some more candles in our own way.

We made our own extra candle out of the leftovers :) 

While we were making the hazelnut I got a headache and it didn't end till kids club that evening with some ibuprofen. Then at 5:30 we had kids club and Smokie gave me this

Bang Biscuit!  And sang like the first few lines of the happy birthday song. Then later at kids club the kids tried to guess how old I was mostly I heard upper twenties to mid-thirties. Then Hugo said  30,000!

Then after the kids went home; I was able to use FaceTime and talk to my Parents, my Brother Darrin, and my Grandparents from Wisconsin. The funniest part was when mom answered the call she said, "Adios". Instead of "Bueno". That was a good time!  I was also able to watch the USA beat the Mexican National Futball Team.  That one thing I really like about being out here. If you get the chance to watch sports, at least until the rest of the country hits time change, everything starts 3 hours earlier out here. So yea it turns out I got like 31 messages on Facebook saying happy birthday and a lot of text messages. And like three from numbers I don't have. I think around nine here Kat Schrock text my youth group from back home to remind them that it was my birthday and she accidently texted me the same message. So it was a pretty good day. 

And then today were smoking a Pork loin and chicken. I can't wait! 

That was fresh off the grill and this is with an hour to go
