Friday started with us going to Mike Ricker's church to clean it. Then we got back to prodigals to prepare for that evenings festivities... We served hot dogs with lemonade and cake. And after most of the kids ate some of the guys busted out some brats (amazing). In the mean time the night activities... We started out playing volleyball. Which isn't like northern Indiana volleyball. Just playing around teaching and having fun. Later Jeff and I played 3 on 3 basketball game. Jeff's team put up a whale of a fight, but ended up folding under the pressure fell to Juan, Sheldon, and I. After that some of the kids played other games like duck duck goose and some racing games. My time was spent talking to some the younger kids. Some of them finally started opening up to me which was really cool. This young kid Hugo started talking and he was just fun to listen to. And also this young girl named Cici. Loved doing the exploding knucks:) and it was just a fun time for her to build some trust with me. She even went as far to tell me she doesn't like her real name and asked if I could call her Cecilia.
The following morning me and Jeff Chupp went just east of Payson, Arizona for aim rights orientation weekend. Which is about a two hour drive north east. And it was a pretty cool drive just to attempt to give you a glimpse of this route. Which won't do justice to it.

It was a good time getting to know the people from Aim Right. It was in a little campground in the middle of the woods. The aim right inters were definitely my highlight. Getting to know some kids around that are my age. Playing a small version of the Mennonite Game to get a connection with them. It's at least nice to have some friends my age around. Don't worry Jeff and Trisha you two are my age but your married:) I think you understand. The pastor of Paradise Valley Church told me that if I'm not careful I could end up falling in love with this place and never move away... He said he originally came down for a couple of weeks and that was back in the late 1970s :) Then Richard Valenzuela told me be careful your probably gonna move here when your down with your term. Ok that's a Paraphrase.
This was the setting for the weekend the one just above was the cabin I slept in. At one point they had us to off and pray and this was where I ended up going
So yes I hope to be able to make some more updates and make them more often. Don't be afraid to leave any comments, gripes, complaints, editorials of any nature.

Its awesome to see Christ working through you and it is my prayer that the fullness of Christ be instilled in you more and more each day. It will come with brokenness, but the cost is worth the prize.
