I will try by best to give a brief and a basic interruptation of our little trip to Mexico.
First off thanks for the positive response to my last post. It was good not hearing any negatives, but also realize not many would say that they had a problem with it any way.
It rained the Thursday before we left so I took 3 pictures and put them together of the rainbow that ensued.
Ok, we left around 1 last Friday for Puerto Penasco, Mexico. While on our way there we saw a whole lot more DESERT!
We stopped to get so Mexican Car Insureance, gas, and a really good steak burrito in Why, Arizona. Yes.... Exactly what I thought!
It took a couple of hours to get there, but when we did me and Jeff kept thinking about how some of the houses and the way the city looked. It kept reminding us of Ghana.
This doesn't show it that well, but at least there is fire.
We all met at a resuraunt that made some awesome chicken. As well as being in a sweet place
Now the church I went down with was going to Mexico to help at a medical clinic. This group was made up mostly of people that go to Open Door Fellowship or 'odf' (Jeff and Trisha's church) so they all knew my name and some stuff about me. And as usually Friday to Sunday was not enough time for me to remember everyone's name:) so this is the group I went with... Besides Jeff I only knew Bob and Helen Ryan before I went down.

I'll put up some pictures of the time at the clinic. I was helping spend time with the kids

Bob is holding the prongs.
After the clinic was over. We were able to spend the evening at a big time resort... BIG TIME. like big enough to see from space... See

And as this place proved... A mango of a stick with lime juice on it....epic
Later that night we went to a place in the city I compared to Bourbon Street in New Orleans. It had a lot of sports bars, plain 'sea side' Restaurants, and a little market place. Which is where I was able to buy this! For only $11. It was the only thing I saw like it...
Awesome!
This place had awesome fish! My Dad would love this place!
The next day we went to church I think it was called 'Family of God' first service is in English and the second is it Spanish. But the worship time is kind of half and half.
And then for our last event as a group we had lunch at. Fish Taco stand called 'Combo Taco'. It was one of those places that you didn't realize how awesome it was till you left and all you could think about was going back to eat there again! It was awesome. Best food of the trip. In a very interesting shack...
All together it was a very good experience. The food was definitely a sweet point! The only downer was that the kids didn't speak English. So that was the only disappointment.
